2,793 health workers nakatanggap na ng COVID-19 vaccine – Sec. Galvez

Aabot na sa halos 3,000 ang naturukan ng bakuna kontra COVID-19 simula nang umpisahan ng pamahalaan ang vaccination program noong Lunes.

Ayon kay vaccine czar Sec. Carlito Galvez, kabuuang 2,793 medical frontliners ang nabakunahan ng China vaccine na Sinovac.

“Meron na po tayo from 11 hospitals, meron na po tayong 2,793 na na-inoculate as of 19:33 (7:33 p.m.) kagabi,” sabi ni Galvez sa panayam ng ABS-CBN News Channel.

Sa lahat anya ng nabakunahan, 12 ang nakaranas ng minor adverse effects.

Mayroon naman anya na 154 na nakatakdang bakunahan ang hindi natuloy dahil sa high blood pressure at iba pang medical condition ng mga ito.

Dumating sa bansa ang 600,000 doses ng CoronaVac na donasyon ng bansang China sa Pilipinas noong Linggo ng hapon.

Inaasahan naman na magsisimula na rin ang pagbabakuna sa Cebu City at Davao City ngayong linggo matapos ipadala doon ang mga bakuna.

Target ng pamahalaan na mabakunahan ang lahat ng healthcare workers ngayong buwan ng Marso.
