School calendar para sa SY. 2020-2021, inayos ng DepEd
Inanunsiyo ng Department of Education (DepEd) na magkakaroon ng pagbabago sa school calendar para sa School Year 2020-2021.
Pirmado ni Education Secretary Leonor Briones ang inilabas na DepEd Order No. 012, series of 2021 na may titulong “Amendment to DepEd Order No. 030, s. 2020 (Amendment to DepEd Order No. 007, s. 2020, School Calendar and Activities for School Year 2020-2021).”
“To allow schools to implement interventions for bridging learning gaps and to give time to teachers for the different learning delivery modalities,” paliwanag ng kagawaran.
Inabisuhan ng DepEd ang mga guro, magulang at estudyante ukol sa mga pagbabago sa mga aktibidad sa mga sumusunod na petsa:
March 1 hanggang 12, 2021
(Interventions para sa bridging learning gaps at learning gains)
March 15 hanggang 19, 2021
(In-Service Training (INSET) para sa mga guro at school break sa mga mag-aaral)
March 22 hanggang May 15, 2021
(Simula ng Quarter 3)
May 17 hanggang July 10, 2021
(Simula ng Quarter 4)
“The additional two-week period shall be compensated by a similar adjustment in the school break between SY. 2020-2021 and SY. 2021-2022,” dagdag ng DepEd.
Nilinaw ng kagawaran na epektibo ang bagong polisiya sa lahat ng public elementary at secondary schools sa buong bansa para sa School Year 2020-2021.
Hinikayat naman ang mga pribadong paaralan, technical at vocational institutions, at higher education institutions, kasama ang state and local universities and colleges, na nag-aalok ng K to 12 Basic Education Program na ipatupad din ang nasabing panuntunan.
