Inaprubahan na ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ang dismissal order mula sa serbisyo ni dating Philippine Ambassador to Brazil Marichu Mauro.
Ito ay matapos mahuli sa CCTV na minamaltrato ni Mauro ang kanyang Filipinong kasambahay sa Brazil.
Ayon sa Pangulo, wala ring matatanggap na benepisyo si Mauro pati na lahat ng mga prebilihiyo.
“Sorry, iyong ambassador doon sa Brazil who maltreated a household helper, ito repeatedly inflicted physical harm doon sa tao. The recommendation was — and I am — I signed the… When was it? The other day or last night?” ayon sa Pangulo.
