Halos 4,000 pasahero stranded sa mga pantalan dahil sa #AuringPH – PCG

Nasa halos apat na libo ang stranded na mga pasahero sa iba’t ibang pantalan ng bansa dahil sa Bagyong Auring.

Ayon sa Philippine Coast Guard, kabuuang 3, 855 na indibwal ang stranded ngayon gayundin ang 67 barko, 1 motorbanca at 1, 602 rolling cargoes.

Pinakamarami sa mga stranded ay sa Eastern Visayas na may 2,154 pasahero na sinundan ng Eastern Mindanao na 780 pasahero habang 473 sa Central Visayas, 379 naman sa Western Visayas at 47 sa Northern Mindanao.

Mayroon naming 64 na barko at 40 motorbancas ang nag ‘take shelter’ upang makaiwas sa pinsala ng bagyo.

Samantala, ayon kay Coast Guard Spokesperson Captain Armand Balilo,  nakahanda ang Coast Guard deployable response groups sakaling kailanganin para sa evacuation at rescue operations kung kinakailangan sa mga apektado ng bagyo.
