Ayon sa Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), nagging stationary ang bagyo sa Philippine Sea.
Taglay ng bagyo ang hangin na 75 kilometers per at pagbugso ng 90 kilometers per hour.
Namataan ang bagyo sa 475 kilometers east southeast ng Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur.
Nakataas ngayon ang Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal Number 1 sa Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, Samar, Biliran, Leyte, Southern Leyte, Cebu, Negros Oriental, Bohol, at Siquijor.
Nasa Signal Number 1 din ang Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, Agusan del Norte, Agusan del Sur, Davao Oriental, Davao de Oro, Davao del Norte, Davao City, Camiguin, Misamis Oriental, Misamis Occidental, Lanao del Norte, Bukidnon, at Lanao del Sur.
Inaasahang magla-landfall ang bagyo sa eastern coast ng Caraga region sa Linggo ng umaga o hapon at tatawid sa Visayas at Mimaropa region.
