Naaresto ng mga operatiba ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) ang isang Amerikano na matagal nang wanted sa United States dahil sa felony cases.
Kinilala ni Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente ang pugante na si John Dalton Daclan, 40-anyos.
Nahuli ng mga miyembro ng BI Fugitive Search Unit (BI FSU) si Daclan sa Barangay San Juan sa Moncada noong nakaraang Martes.
Ipinag-utos ni Morente ang pag-aresto sa dayuhan matapos magbigay ng impormasyon ang mga awtoridad sa Amerika ukol sa criminal records nito, partikular ang mga kaso nito sa California.
Base sa records, may kinakaharap ang dayuhan na tatlong arrest warrants na inilabas ng Orange County Superior Court sa California noong June 21, 2010.
May kinalaman ang kaso sa umano’y hindi awtoridasong paggamit ng identification, grand theft, forgery, burglary, display of false identification, fraud, battery and receiving stolen property na paglabag sa penal code ng California.
Ani Morente, made-deport din ang dayuhan dahil maliban sa mga kaso nito, overstaying at undocumented na ito kasunod ng kanselasyon ng pasaporte nito.
“He will also be blacklisted and banned from re-entering the country,” pahayag nito.
Sa ngayon, nakakulong ang dayuhan sa BI warden facility sa Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City habang hinihintay ang deportation nito.
