DSWD, handang umasiste sa mga LGU na apektado ng aktibidad ng Bulkang Taal
Handa ang Department of Social Welfare and Development, sa pamamagitan ng Field Office (FO) IV-A, na umasiste sa local government units (LGUs) na maaapektuhan ng tumaas na volcanic activity ng Bulkang Taal.
Sa ngayon, may humigit-kumulang P2.6 milyong halaga ng family food packs ang Field Office at P8.5 milyong halaga naman ng relief supplies para sa repacking.
Maliban dito, mayroon din itong P8.3 milyong standby funds na maaaring gamitin sa pagkuha ng dagdag na emergency relief supplies.
Dumalo rin ang disaster teams mula sa Field Office sa virtual conference ng Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (RDRRMC) IV-A–Response Cluster upang matalakay ang kahandaan para sa response operations sa naturang lugar.
Nakataas na ang Emergency Operations Center (EOC) ng FO sa heightened alert para matutukan ang volcanic activities at makapagbigay ng technical assistance sa mga munisipalidad.
Hinikayat naman ng kagawaran ang mga residente na maging mapagmatyag at sundin ang mga direktiba ng mga awtoridad para sa kanilang kaligtasan.
