VP Robredo: “Move on na tayo, wala ng samaan ng loob!”
Umapela si Vice President Leni Robredo sa lahat, partikular sa kanyang mga tagasuporta na iwan na ang nakaraan at magkaisa sa pagharap sa mga isyu sa bansa.
Ginawa ito ni Robredo ilang oras matapos ibasura ng Korte Suprema ang electoral protest sa kanya ni dating Sen. Bongbong Marcos.
“We are going through so much. Let us put aside our ill feelings. Let us put aside our misunderstandings. Let us put aside the arguments because a lot of people are depending on us,” sabi ni Robredo
Dagdag pa niya, “hinihingi ko lang sa lahat lalo na sa supporters natin to put this behind us and let us move forward together. I am asking everyone, especially to my supporters, is to put this behind us and let us move forward together. Let us join hands. Let us focus on the work before us.”
Partikular niyang pinasalamatan ang kanyang mga tauhan sa kanilang mga sakripisyo sa kabila ng mga pagkuwestiyon sa kanyang panalo sa eleksyon noong 2016.
Aniya, walang nagdalawang-isip at dahil sa desisyon, mahaharap na niya nang husto ang mga pangangailangan ng bansa
