Bugbugan sa labas ng Ph Labor Office sa Riyadh, Saudi Arabia kinondena
Nakarating na sa kaalaman ng Philippine Embassy sa Riyadh sa Saudi Arabia ang dalawa insidente ng pambubugbog sa labas ng Philippine Overseas Labor Offfice (POLO) na kinasasangkutan ng mga Filipino.
Sinabi ni Philippine Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Adnan Alonto hindi niya kukunsintuhin ang mga katulad na insidente, na naganap noong Pebrero 9 at 11.
“We regret that these incidents happened have cast Filipinos in a bad light and exposed those involved to criminal prosecution by Saudi authorities,” ang mababasa sa inilabas na pahayag ng embahada.
Hindi naman kinilala ng embahada ang pangalan ng mga sangkot sa kaguluhan.
“In light of this, we call on all those concerned to exercise restraint and sobriety. We also ask the members of the Filipino community to respect the rule of law at all times,” ayon pa sa pahayag.
Kasabay nito ang pagtitiyak sa komunidad ng Filipino sa kaligtasan ng mga tauhan at kliyente ng embahada at iba pang tanggapan.
