Careless and insensitive.
Ito ang pagsasalarawan ni Sen. Panfilo Lacson sa ginawang akusasyon ni Inquirer journalist Tetch Torres-Tupas.
Napailing si Lacson sa ginawa ni Parlade at aniya wala ng ibang magiging interpretasyon ang tao na may sapat na pag-iisip sa ginawa ni Parlade.
Ngunit aniya wala siyang pakialam kung anuman ang lumabas sa bibig ni Parlade at wala din siyang kinalaman sa namamagitan sa kanila ni Torres-Tupas.
“My primary concern is the Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020 which I and my staff, as well as my fellow senators worked extra hard to afford the state an effective legal tool against terrorism while ensuring that the Bill of Rights is protected, especially that the law is now facing some serious challenges before the Supreme Court,” sabi ng senador.
Diin pa ni Lacson kung gusto talaga ni Parlade na makatulong na maliwanagan ang mga mahistrado ng Korte Suprema, tigilan na nito ang pagsasalita ukol sa terorismo.
