Higit P800,000 halaga ng ecstacy, nasabat sa Davao City
Nasamsam ng Bureau of Customs (BOC) ang P839,000 halaga ng ecstacy sa Davao City.
Sanib-puwersa sa joint controlled delivery operation ang PDEA Regional Office XI, BOC – NAIA, BOC Davao, NAIA Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group (NAIA-IADITG), BOC – Intelligence Group and BOC – Customs Anti-Illegal Drugs Task Force (CAIDTF).
Sa pamamagitan ng pinaigting na profiling ng ahensya, nadiskubreng naglalaman ang parcels sa Central Mail Exchange Center (CMEC) ng 494 piraso ng ecstacy tablets.
Nagsagawa naman ang PDEA at NAIA-IADITG ng kinakailangang chemical laboratory analysis.
Nai-turnover na ng BOC-NAIA ang ilegal na droga sa PDEA noong January 18 para sa mas masusing profiling at case build up laban sa importers at iba pang responsable.
Posibleng maharap ang mga responsable sa kasong paglabag sa Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 na may kinalaman sa Section 1401 ng Customs Modernization and Tariff Act.
Noong February 4, 2021, nahuli ng mga awtoridad ang dalawang claimant na sina Christian Sulla at Kenneth Cajoles.
