“Tourists not allowed still unless with exemption,” pahayag ni Roque.

Ayon kay Roque, kinakailangan lamang na mayroong pre-booked na accommodation ng anim na gabi sa isang accredited quarantine hotel o facility; kinakailangang mag-test ng Covid-19 sa quarantine hotel o facility sa ika-anim na araw; at kailangan silang magkaroon ng maximum capacity of inbound passengers at the port and date of entry.

“Itong expanded list ay without prejudice sa mga umiiral na immigration laws, rules and regulations. Ang Commissioner of Immigration ay merong ekslusibong prerogative na makapag-decision tungkol sa waiver or recall the exclusion orders ng lahat ng dayuhan na pumapasok,” pahayag ni Roque.

“Holders of valid and existing Special Resident Retiree’s Visa and Section 9(A) visas will also be permitted to enter the Philippines “as long as they present an entry exemption document to the Bureau of Immigration upon arrival,” pahayag ni Roque.
