Panukala ng Comelec na ipagbawal ang face-to-face campaign para sa 2022 elections, masyado pang maaga – Palasyo

Masyadong maaga pa para sa Palasyo ng Malakanyang ang panukala ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) na ipagbawal ang face-to-face na pangangampanya ng mga kakandidatio sa 2022 presidential elections.

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, iginagalang ng Palasyo ang panukala ng Comelec dahil sa pagiging constitutional body nito pero masyadong maaga pa ito lalo’t magsisimula na ang programa ng pamahalaan sa malawakang pagbabakuna kontra sa COVID-19.

Sinabi pa ni Roque na maaaring obserbahan muna ng Comelec ang kalalabasan ng vaccination program.

Maaari kasi aniyang maibsan ang pangamba sa face-to-face campaign kung makakamit na mabakunahan ang malaking populasyon ng mga Filipino.

Sinabi pa ni Roque na mayroon pa namang panahon para sa eleksyon.

Una rito, sinabi ng Comelec na pinag-aaralan na ng kanilang hanay ang pagbabawal ng face-to-face campaign para makaiwas ang publiko sa sakit na COVID-19.
