DOST, inaprubahan ang clinical trial ng Janssen sa bansa
Inaprubahan na ng Department of Science and Technology (DOST) ang COVID-19 vaccine clinical trials sa bansa ng Belgium-based Janssen Pharmaceuticals.
Ayon kay DOST Secretary Fortunato dela Peña, magsisimula ang clinical trials sa loob ng linggong ito.
Ayon kay dela Peña, inaprubahan na kasi ng Food and Drug Administration (FDA) ang hirit ng Janssen.
Target ng Janssen na isagawa ang trial sites sa Metro Manila, La Paz, Iloilo, Bacolod City, San Pablo, Laguna.
Samantala, sinabi ni dela Peña na sa loob ng buwan ng Pebrero o sa Marso maaaring makapagsagawa ng clinical trials sa bansa ang Chinese vaccine manufacturers na Sinovac at Clover Biopharmaceuticals.
