Nagkaaberyang bangka sa Batanes, nailigtas ng PCG
Rumesponde ang Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) responded sa nagkaaberyang bangka sa Sabtang Island, Batanes araw ng Miyerkules (February 3).
Lulan ng bangka ang 33 pasahero at 15 crew members.
Ayon sa kapitan, nagkaproblemq ang propeller ng MB STA INES 2 habang nasa biyahe patungong Ivana Port mula sa Sabtang Port.
Agad humingi ng tulong sa Coast Guard Sub-Station Sabtang si Seaman Second Class (SN2) Jayson Orendez ng PCG, na isa sa mga pasahero ng naturang bangka.
Sinabi ni Orendez na lahat ng pasahero ay nakasuot ng lifejackets at nanatiling kalmado habang hinihintay ang search and rescue (SAR) team.
