Manila LGU, bumili ng P111-M lote para sa housing program
Pinirmahan ni Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno ang deed of absolute sale para bilhin ang 6,003-square meter pribadong lote na nagkakahalaga ng P111 milyon, araw ng Miyerkules (February 3).
Matatagpuan ang lote sa Pasigline sa Sta. Ana.
Ayon sa alkalde, ilalaan ang lote para sa “Land for the Landless” program ng Manila Urban Settlements Office.
Layon nitong makapagbigay ng tulong sa mga landless, bonafide poor, low-income informal settlers at homeless families.
“This is the modern times, with a modern government, na maiparamdan man lang namin sa inyo na walang politiko dito. Gobyerno ang lumingon sa inyo, dahil ang gobyerno ng Maynila ay pinapakita ang pagmamalasakit sa lahat,” pahayag ni Moreno.
Dagdag pa nito, “Walang mayaman, walang mahirap. Lahat pantay pntay, nilingon ang lahat.”
Hindi aniya titigil ang Manila City government sa pagbibigay ng ligtas at desenteng komunidad para sa mga residente ng lungsod.
“We will not stop until we have safe and decent communities that every Manileño will be proud of. Ito ay tupad laway para sa mga Batang Maynila,” ani Moreno.
