Puganteng Italyano nahuli sa Angeles City, Pampanga

Naaresto ng mga tauhan ng Bureau of Immigration sa BI Angeles Field Office sa Pampanga ang isang Italyano na wanted sa pinagmulang bansa, araw ng Lunes (February 1).

Nahuli ang suspek na si Ivaldi Antonello, 51-anyos, matapos magtangkang magpalawig ng visa sa BI Angeles Field Office.

Ayon kay Alien Control Officer Mark Leslie Gonzales, isinumite ni Antonello ang kaniyang pasaporte para sana palawigin ang kaniyang tourist visa nang madiskubre ng BI personnel na isa itong active watchlist.

Aniya, nasa Pilipinas ang dayuhan simula 2019 sa ilalim ng tourist visa.

“Once we saw his record, we immediately coordinated with the BI’s Fugitive Search Unit (FSU) to effect his arrest,” pahayag ni Gonzales.

Base sa ulat kay BI Commissioner Jaime Morente, sinabi ni BI FSU Chief Bobby Raquepo na sa pamamagitan ng tulong mula sa Philippine National Police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-Angeles City Field Unit, nahuli ang dayuhan.

“We received official communication from Italian authorities requesting assistance in locating him,” ani Morente.

Lumabas sa records na may kinakaharap ang dayuhan na warrant of arrest na inilabas ng Prosecutor’s Office sa Appeal Court ng Trieste, Italy dahil sa Aggravated Rape and Sexual Assault against Minor.

Ililipat si Antonello sa BI Warden Facility sa Bicutan, Taguig habang hinihintay ang COVID-19 swab test results.
