Face-to-face na pangangampanya sa eleksyon, maaring ipagbawal na ng Comelec

Pinag-aaralan na ng Commission on Elections na ipagbawal ang face-to-face na pangangampanya para sa May 2022 elections.

Ayon kay Comelec Spokesman James Jimenez, ito ay dahil sa nagpapatuloy pa ang banta sa Covid 19.

Ayon kay Jimenez, tiyak na mayroong pagbabago sa campaigning landscape sa bansa sa susunod na eleksyon.

Maari aniyang ipagbawal ang pamamahagi ng campaign materials at pagbabahay-bahay na pangangampanya.

Pero sa ngayon, sinabi ni Jimenez na nakikipag-ugnayan pa ngayon ang Comelec sa Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases para plantsahin ang naturang isyu.

Isa sa mga opsyon na nakikita ng Comelec ang online campaign.
