Sa pamamagitan ng West Field Office (WFO), nakuha ang Luzon lowland Scops-owl (Otus megalotis) sa bahagi ng Malibay.
Inalerto ang WFO ng DENR Central office ukol sa kuwago kung kaya agad idineploy ang animal retrieval team sa naturang lugar.
Sa ngayon, dinala ang kuwago sa Wildlife Rescue Center sa Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife sa Quezon City.
Ang Luzon lowland Scops-owl ay itinuturing na endemic sa Pilipinas at makikita ito sa Luzon, Marinduque, at Catanduanes Islands.
