Nakumpleto na ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) ang karagdagang healthcare facilities sa Iloilo City.

Ayon kay DPWH Secretary at Isolation Czar Mark Villar, base sa ulat ni DPWH Regional Office 6 (DPWH-RO6) Director Lea Delfinado, natapos ang pasilidad sa Barangay Sooc, Arevalo district sa Iloilo City.

Ang bagong quarantine/isolation facility ay ilalaan para sa mga pasyente sa lugar at hiwalay na off-site dormitory para sa medical personnel.

Sinabi ni Villar na ililipat ang ilang kaso ng COVID-19 sa Jaro district sa dagdag na healthcare facility.

Ang bagong pasilidad ay may 16 air-conditioned rooms na may isang kama at comfort room.

Mayroon din itong nurse station, male and female nurse quarters, at sanitation area.

Samantala, lima pang healthcare facilities ang itu-turnover sa Iloilo City at Iloilo Province.

Kabilang dito ang mga sumusunod:
– quarantine/isolation facilities at off-site dormitories sa Lapaz, Iloilo City at Western Visayas Sanitarium sa Sta. Barbara, Iloilo
– off-site dormitories sa Dr. Ricardo Y. Ladrido Memorial District Hospital sa Lambunao, Iloilo Provincial Hospital sa Pototan, at Don Jose S. Monfort Medical Center Extension Hospital sa Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo.
