34 positibo sa COVID-19 sa ikalawang mass testing sa Kamara
Nakapagtala ang House of Representatives ng panibagong 34 na kaso ng COVID-19.
Ayon kay House Secretary-General Mark Llandro Mendoza, ito ay mula sa kabuuang 2, 848 na isinailalaim sa RT-PCR test kasunod ng ikalawang mass testing sa Batasang Pambansa.
“This is equivalent to a positivity rate of only 1.19 percent, which is way below the 5 percent positivity rate recorded during the first mass testing,” sabi ni Mendoza.
Nauna rito, 98 ang nagpositibo sa COVID-19 mula sa 2,000 miyembro ng Kamara at mga empleyado sa isinagawang mass testing noong November 10-20, 2020.

Sinabi rin ng ospisyal na bukod sa regular testing ay nagsasagawa sila ng mas mahigpit na health protocols upang maiwasan ang pagkalat ng COVID-19 sa Batasan Complex.
“Speaker Velasco said we must continue or even intensify our efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19, especially now that a new variant of coronavirus is gaining a foothold in the country,” dagdag ni Velasco.
