Pumanaw na si Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission Chairman Jimenez sa edad na 68.
Sa pahayag ng pamilya Jimenez, aortic aneurysm ang dahilan ng pagkamatay ng opisyal.
“With deep sorrow, the family announces the passing away of Dante La. Jimenez, PACC Chairman, due to Aortic Aneurysm at 9:43 p.m., Friday, January 29, 2021. We ask for your prayers for the eternal repose of a man who devoted his life in the crusade against crime and corruption and for good governance. We will miss him so dearly. May he rest in peace,” pahayag ng Pamilya Jimenez.
Bago itinalaga ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte bilang chairman ng PACC noong 2018, nagsilbi munang chairman ng Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption si Jimenez.
Itinalaga rin ng Pangulo si Jimenez bilang co-chairman ng Inter-Agency Committee on Anti-Illegal Drugs.
