Nautical Highway mula Luzon hanggang Mindanao, inilaan bilang Special Hog Lanes
Inaprubahan na ng Inter-Agency Task Force ang rekomendasyon ng Department of Agriculture na ilaan ang nautical highway mula Luzon hanggang Mindanao pati na ang Maharlika Highway na gawing Special Hog Lanes.
Ito ay para matiyak na hindi maantala ang suplay ng karneng baboy sa iba’t-ibang bahagi ng bansa.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, dapat lamang tiyakin na masusunod ang mga itinakdang protocols para maiwasan ang pagkalat ng African Swine Fever.
“The IATF supported the proposal of the Department of Agriculture to designate the nautical highway from Luzon and Mindanao, and the Maharlika Highway in Luzon as Special Hog Lanes,” pahayag ni Roque.
Inaatasan ng IATF ang DA, Department of Interior and Local Government at Department of Trade and Industry na sumunod sa panibagong polisiya.
Umaangal na ang mga mamimili dahil sa sobrang taas ng presyo ng karneng baboy sa mga palengke.
