Hindi awtorisadong Chinese dredger type vessel, namataan sa Bataan
Namataan ng mga tauhan ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Task Force Aduana at Bureau of Customs (BOC) ang isang ilegal at hindi awtorisadong Chinese dredger type vessel sa bisinidad ng Bataan, Miyerkules ng umaga (January 27).
Habang nagsasagawa ng maritime security patrol sakay ng BRP Panglao (FPB-2402), namataan ito sa layong 7 nautical miles southwest ng Orion Point dakong 11:00 ng umaga.
Nadiskubre ng mga awtoridad na nakapatay ang automatic identification system (AIS) transponder ng naturang vessel.
Wala ring naipakitang dokumento ang dalawang Cambodian crewmembers na sakay nito.
Bineripika naman ng BOC na ang naturang vessel ay nabigyan ng departure clearance ng Customs office sa Aparri, Cagayan mahigit isang taon na ang nakakalipas.
Dahil dito, ang presensya nito sa naturang bisinidad ay ilegal at hindi awtorisado.
Nakatakda namang maglahas ang BOC ng kaukulang warrant of seizure and detention laban sa vessel.
