Pasado na sa ikalawang pagbasa ang panukala para ibaba ang minimum height requirement ng mga nais maging miyembro ng Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), at Bureau of Corrections (BuCor).

Sa ilalim ng House Bill 8261 o ‘PNP, BFP, BJMP and BuCor Height Equality Act’ ay inaamyendahan dito ang Republic Act 6975 o ang “Department of the Interior and Local Government Act of 1990”, ang Republic Act 9263 o ang “Bureau of Fire Protection and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Professionalization Act of 2004 at ang Republic Act 10575 o “Bureau of Corrections Act of 2013”.
