Pension para sa uniformed personnel, inilabas na ng DBM

Inilabas na ng Department of Budget and Management (DBM) ang P25.99 bilyong pondo para saa regular pension ng military at uniformed personnel (MUP) na nasa ilalim ng Department of National Defense (DND) at Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) para sa January hanggang March 2021.

Sa naturang pondo, P14.04 bilyon ang mapupunta sa Armed Forces of the Philippines, P10.64 bilyon para sa Philippine National Police, P941.78 milyon para sa Bureau of Fire Protection at P367.16 milyon para sa Bureau of Jail Management and Penology.

Ayon sa DBM, ang naturang pondo ay inilagay sa Pension and Gratuity Fund (PGF) sa ilalim ng 2021 General Appropriations Act.

“The release order for uniformed personnel of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) and the National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA) shall be issued upon its submission of the required Special Budget Request to the DBM,” pahayag ng DBM.

Kinikilala ng DBM ang mahalagang papel na ginagampanan ng mga sundalo, pulis at iba pang uniformed personnel para mapanatili ang kapayapaan sa bansa.
