Nasa 34 katao ang nasawi matapos tumama ang magnitude 6.2 na lindol sa Sulawesi island, Indonesia.
Ayon kay Ali Rahman, pinuno ng local disaster mitigation agency, nasa 26 katao na ang napaulat na nasawi sa Mamuji City at inaasahan pang tataas ang nasabing bilang.
Sa hiwalay namang abiso, sinabi ng national disaster agency na walo pa ang napaulat sa bahagi ng Mamuju kung kaya’t umabot na ang total death toll sa 34.
Patuloy naman ang ikinakasang search and rescue operation sa Mamuju hospital.
Base sa datos ng United States Geological Survey, namataan ang episentro ng lindol sa 36 kilometers Timbog ng Mamuju at may lalim na 18 kilometers.
