May 120 pang nadagdag sa bilang ng kaso ng COVID-19 sa Eastern Visayas.
Sa datos ng Department of Health (DOH) – Eastern Visayas hanggang 9:00, Sabado ng umaga (January 9), umakyat na sa 11,966 ang confirmed COVID-19 cases sa probinsya.
Sa nasabing bilang, 699 o 5.84 porsyento ang aktibong kaso.
125 residente naman ang gumaling pa sa nakakahawang sakit.
Bunsod nito, umabot na sa 11,126 o 92.98 porsyento ang total recoveries sa Eastern Visayas.
Nasa 141 na ang mga residenteng nasawi o 1.18 porsyento bunsod pa rin ng nakakahawang sakit.
