Publiko, pinag-iingat ng DOLE sa mga Facebook page na may alok na trabaho at papremyo
Nagbabala ang Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) sa publiko laban sa mga bogus Facebook pages na may alok na trabaho, at ipinapangakong cash o premyo kapalit ng likes at shares.
“Verify the registration of such companies with appropriate government agencies before engaging with them, especially in providing information,” pahayag ng kagawaran.
Inilabas ng DOLE ang alerto makaraang makatanggap ng reklamo laban sa isang kumpanya na ‘Eternal Investment’ dahil sa umano’y pagkuha ng mga tao sa Facebook kung saan nagtatalaga ng iba’t ibang job positions sa voluntary or commission basis.
Ang mga na-recruit ay itinalaga sa mga posisyon tulad ng executives, managers, at graphic artists.
Sinabi pa sa reklamo na ang ‘Eternal Investment’ ay “manipulating people and not paying proper dues based on the output of the volunteers.”
Sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), napag-alamang hindi kabilang ang ‘Eternal Investment’ sa listahan ng registered businesses ng kagawaran.
Hindi rin registrado ang naturang kumpanya sa Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Para protektahan ang publiko, dinala ng Bureau of Local Employment ng DOLE ang reklamo sa Enforcement and Investor Protection Department ng SEC para sa mas malalim na imbestigasyon.
