Amihan, ITCZ patuloy na magpapaulan sa ilang bahagi ng bansa

Mayroong dalawang weather system na nakakaapekto sa bansa.

Ayon kay PAGASA weather specialist Chris Perez, umiiral pa rin ang Northeast Monsoon o Amihan ang ilang bahagi ng Northern, Central at Southern Luzon kasama na ang Metro Manila.

Asahan aniya na magiging maulap pa rin ang kalangitan na may mahihinang pag-ulan sa Cagayan Valley, CAR, Aurora, at gayundin sa northern part ng Quezon sa Lunes ng gabi, January 4.

Samantala, apektado naman ng Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) ang Mindanao region.

Dahil dito, makararanas aniya ng maulap na papawirin na may kalat-kalat na pag-ulan, pagkidlat at pagkulog sa Davao region, Caraga at Soccsksargen.

Sa natitirang bahagi ng Luzon kasama na ang Metro Manila, sinabi ni Perez na magiging maaliwalas ang panahon maliban na lamang sa ilang pulo-pulong pag-ulan.

Sa nalalabing parte naman ng bansa, maalinsangang panahon pa rin ang aasahan ngunit posible pa ring makaranas ng isolated rainshowers o thunderstorm.
