WHO magpupulong para talakayin ang bagyong strain ng COVID-19

Nagpatawag ng pulong ang World Health Organization (WHO) para talakayin ang hakbang kaugnay sa bagong strain ng COVID-19 na natuklasan sa United Kingdom.

Ayon kay Hans Kluge, regional director for Europe ng WHO, masusing binabantayan ng WHO ang ang paglaganap ng bagong variant ng COVID-19.

Sa gagawing pagpupulong, tatalakayin ang stratehiya para sa COVID-19 testing, reducing transmission at communicating risks.

Magaganap ang pulong ngayong araw, December 23 alas 5:00 ng hapon oras sa Pilipinas.

Ilang mga bansa na kabilang ang India at Argentina ang nagpatupad na ng travel ban sa Britain sa pangambang mapasukan sila ng bagong strain ng coronavirus.
