Operasyon ng PCSO sa STL pinaiimbestigahan sa Kamara

Pinaiimbestigahan ng mga kongresista mula sa lalawigan ng Isabela ang operation ng Small Town Lottery ng Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).

Sa privilege speech ni Isabela 6th District Rep. Inno Dy, sinabi nito na nais nila na maimbestigahan ang operasyon ng STL dahil sa mgas legal isyu 2020 STL Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (RIRR).

Sa ilalim anya nito, apektado ang mandato ng mga local government units (LGUs) na protektahan ang kapakanan ng kanilang mga kababayan.

Kailangan anyang malinaw ang nasabing RIRR matapos ang insidente sa Cauayan City.

Sa nasabing lungsod anya na kanyang distrito ay ipinahinto ng lokal na pamahalaan ang operasyon ng STL dahil sa kawalan ng business permit ng operator nito na Sahara Games and Amusement Philippines Corporation gayundin ang paglabag sa Covid-19 quarantine protocols ng lalawigan.

Sabi ni Dy, “Aside from the absence of required permits, Cauayan City officials also discovered that Sahara personnel from outside Isabela had not been respecting and complying with Covid protocols in place to keep Isabelinos safe from the dreaded disease.”

Iginiit ng bagitong mambabatas na kailangan ang business permit upang makapagpatakbo ng negosyo sa isang lokalidad.

Ang hakbang ng lokal na pamahalaan ng Cauayan City ay kinuwestyon naman ng Sahara sa korte.
