DILG istriktong ipatutupad ang pagbabawal sa mga banned firecrackers
Istriktong ipatutupad ng Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) ang pagbabawal sa pagpapaputok ngayong Kapasukuhan at sa Bagong Taon.
Ayon kay DILG Undersecretary at spokesman Jonathan Malaya, inatasan na ang PNP na kumpiskahin ang mga ilegal na paputok at arestuhin ang mga mahuhulihan nito.
Kabilang sa mga ilegal na paputok ay ang piccolo, watusi, giant whistle bomb, giant bawang, large Judas belt, super lolo, lolo thunder, atomic bomb, atomic bomb triangulo, pillbox, boga, kwiton, goodbye Earth, goodbye bading, hello Columbia at goodbye Philippines.
Inatasan din ng DILG ang PNP na magsagawa ng inspeksyon sa “manufacturing complex, warehouse, at processing area” ng mga gumagawa at dealers ng paputok.
Samantala, nagpaalala naman si Bureau of Fire Protection Senior Inspector Bayani Zambrano na lahat ng uri ng public fireworks display ay bawal.
Tanging community fireworks displays lamang na pamahahalaan ng local government units ang pinapayagan.
