Mga guro nangangamba sa binabalak na pilot testing ng ‘face-to-face classes’

Magkahiwalay ngunit iisa ang pangamba ng dalawang grupo ng mga guro ukol sa binabalak na pilot testing ng ‘face-to-face classes’ sa mga tutukuying ‘safe areas’ sa pagpasok ng bagong taon.

Ayon sa Teaches’ Dignity Coalition at Alliance of Concerned Teachers maaring lumikha pa ng mas malaking problema kung tatamaan ng COVID 19 ang mga guro at mag-aaral sa balakin ng DepEd.

Inaprubahan na ni Pangulong Duterte ang rekomendasyon ni Education Sec. Leonor Briones.

“While its voluntary, it is still not certain that children, teachers and parents will be safe if they continue to the dry-run for face-to-face classes,”sabi ni TDC national chair Benjo Basas.

Banggit nito at base sa mga pag-aaral, maaring magsilbing ‘super spreader’ ng sakit ang mga bata.

Sinabi naman ni ACT Sec. Gen. Raymond Basilio marami nang ikinasang programa ang gobyerno na sinabing may pondo, ngunit sa dakong huli ay ipinasa rin sa mga guro at mag-aaral ang gastusin.

Dagdag pa niya, hindi maililigtas ng mask, alcohol at physical distancing ang mga guro at mag-aaral.

Hirit pa ng dalawang grupo ang dapat gawin ng gobyerno ay tugunan muna ang iba pang isyu, tulad ng kulang na suplay ng tubig sa mga eskuwelahan, kawalan ng klinika at kahit nurse.
