Nadagdagan ng 120 pa ang bilang ng kaso ng COVID-19 sa Eastern Visayas.
Naitala ang mga bagong kaso mula sa 1,092 laboratory samples na sinuri ng EVRCTC, DWHVL at Ormoc Molecular Diagnostic Center.
Sa datos ng Department of Health (DOH) – Eastern Visayas hanggang 9:00, Huwebes ng umaga (December 17), 9,844 na ang confirmed COVID-19 cases sa rehiyon.
Sa nasabing bilang, 745 o 7.57 porsyento ang aktibong kaso.
47 residente naman ang gumaling pa sa nakakahawang sakit.
Bunsod nito, umabot na sa 8,990 o 91.32 porsyento ang total recoveries sa Eastern Visayas.
Sa ngayon ay umabot na sa 109 ang bilang ng nasawi sa rehiyon o katumbas ng 1.11 porsyento.
