Customs Operations Center, inilunsad na

Pormal nang inilunsad ng Bureau of Customs (BOC) ang Customs Operations Center, araw ng Miyerkules (December 16).

Makatutulong ang pasilidad para sa pagbibigay ng command at control sa intelligence and enforcement operations ng 17 Collection Districts sa buong bansa.

Ilalagay sa Customs Operations Center facility ang iba’t ibang intelligence, enforcement, risk management, at scanning systems ng ahensya.

Matututukan din sa nasabing pasilidad ang Intelligence Database, Electronic Tracking of Containerized Cargo (E-TRACC) at Vessel Monitoring System.

Magagamit din sa bagong pasilidad ang ang Universal Risk Management System (URMS) at makapagbibigay ng remote access sa scanning o x-ray systems para sa X-ray Inspection Project.

Magsisilbi rin itong fusion center para sa pag-analyze ng mga intelligence, enforcement and operational information.

Mamanduhan ng mga tauhan ng Enforcement Security and Services (ESS) at Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) ang IT-integrated facility 24 oras.

Ayon kay BOC Commissioner Rey Leonardo Guerrero, malaking tulong para sa ahensya ang pasilidad para sa pagpapaigting ng border protection sa bansa.

“The Customs Operations Center is a significant part of the Bureau’s thrust on reform and transformation”, pahayag ni Guerrero.
