Maynila, humakot ng Most Competitive Awards sa taong 2020

Sa kauna-unahang pagkakataon sa LGU Manila, hinakot nito ang karangalan sa katatapos na 8th Regional Competitiveness Summit ng Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) na dinaluhan ng mga Local Chief Executives sa buong bansa via virtual platform.

Nagwagi ang LGU Manila bilang Top One sa tatlong categories. Ito ay ang mga sumusunod:
– Overall Competitiveness Award for Highly Urbanized Cities
– Most Competitive in Infrastructure Award in Highly Urbanized Cities
– Most Competitive in Government Efficiency Award for High Urbanized Cities

Naging 3rd place naman ang LGU Manila sa dalawang categories. Ito ay ang Most Competitive in Resiliency for Highly Urbanized Cities at Most Competitive in Government Efficiency.

Magugunita na dalawang parangal ang nakuha rin ng LGU Manila sa Digital Governance Award noong nakataang Linggo. Ang ito ay Best In Customer Empowerment at Best in Governmwental Internal Process.

Dahil dito, nagpasalamat si Mayor Isko Moreno sa ibayong pagsisikap ng kanyang mga kasamahan sa LGU Manila at sa mga organizer ng naturang prestisyosong patimpalak para sa mga local government.

Ayon kay Mayor Isko, ang sunod-sunod na mga parangal na natamo ng LGU Manila ay patunay ng epektibo ang pamamahala sa Bagong Maynila.
