Pagdaraos ng unang araw ng Simbang Gabi, ‘generally peaceful’ – PNP
Naging ‘generally peaceful and orderly’ ang pagdaraos ng unang araw ng tradisyonal na Misa de Gallo, ayon sa Philippine National Police (PNP).
Ito ang naging assessment ni PNP Chief General Debold Sinas batay sa field reports sa iba’t ibang simbahan sa bansa.
Sa pamamagitan ng PNP Command Center, natutukan ni Sinas ang sitwasyon sa mga simbahan.
Batay sa ulat ng lahat ng PRO, walang naging aberya o insidente sa pagdaraos ng Simbang-Gabi.”
“Everything went well on Day 1, we expect it to be better on Day 2, and perhaps even perfectly best in the rest of the nine days until Christmas and through the New Year,” pahayag ni Sinas.
Maayos aniyang naipatupad ng church officials at mga lokal na awtoridad ang mga ordinansa at church policy ng physical distancing, at ang 30 porsyentong maximum capacity sa loob ng simbahan.
Inatasan naman ang PNP Units commanders na manatiling mapagmatyag sa buong Holiday Season.
