Umabot na sa 70.89 porsyento ang overall progress rate ng Bicol International Airport (BIA) sa Daraga, Albay.
Ayon sa Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), hangganh November 30, 2020, 85.97 porsyento nang tapos ang Package 2A ng airport development project.
Sakop nito ang pagtatayo ng landside facilities at iba pang gusali.
Samantala, ang Package 2B naman ay 45.39 porsyento nang kumpleto kung saan kasama ang PTB, runway extension, taxiway, drainage, at iba pang site development works.
Oras na matapos ang paliparan, kaya nitong ma-accommodate ang dalawang milyong pasahero kada taon.
Makatutulong ito sa air traffic at tourist arrivals sa Bicol region.
