Internet service sa bansa, mapapagbuti sa dagdag budget sa NBP – Sen. Angara

Naniniwala si Senator Sonny Angara na bubuti ang internet connectivity sa bansa kapag nailatag na ang unang bahagi ng National Broadband Program ng Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).

Aniya, maging ang mga liblib na lugar ay magkaroon na ng internet signal.

Sinabi ito ni Angara dahil dinoble sa P1.9 bilyon ang pondo ng NBP para sa susunod na taon.

“We need to really ramp up our internet infrastructure. It’s one of the needs of our country. When you talk about build, build, build, you don’t just look at roads, you don’t just look at buildings, but you also look at the actual internet infrastructure because that will provide greater investments,” sabi ni Angara.

Bukod pa sa nabanggit na pondo ang inilaan para sa paglalagay ng free WiFi sa mga pampublikong lugar, gayundin sa mga kolehiyo at unibersidad ng gobyerno.
