Deployment ng OFWs sa Jordan suspendido

Sinuspinde muna ang deployment ng mga newly hired Filipino workers sa bansang Jordan.

Batay ito sa rekomendasyon ng Philippine Embassy sa naturang bansa dahil sa tumataas na kaso ng COVID-19 doon sa nagdaang mga buwan.

Ayon kay Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) Administrator Bernard Olalia, inihinto na ng Philippine Overseas Labor Office (Polo) sa Amman, Jordan ang pagproseso sa employment contracts ng mga new hires na OFWs.

Sinabi ni Olalia na si Philippine Ambassador to Jordan Akmad Sakkah ang nag-rekomenda para sa suspensyon ng deployment.
