3 patay sa sagupaan ng MILF at Abu Sayyaf

basilanTatlo ang patay nang magka-engkwentro ang mga kasapi ng Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) at Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) sa Al-Barka, Basilan.

Naganap ang sagupaan sa Sitio Tampat, dakong alas-10 ng umaga ng Miyerkules.

Ayon kay Western Mindanao Command spokesman Maj. Filemon Tan, nagpang-abot ang grupo nina Abu Sayyaf leader Isnilon at MILF leader Aslumin Masud.

Pawang mga miyembro ng ASG lamang ang nasawi sa insidenteng nangyari sa kilalang kuta ng mga MILF.
