Mga rebeldeng NPA na nasa likod ng pananambang sa mga pulis sa Samar pinatutugis ni Sinas

Ipinag-utos ni Philippine National Police (PNP) chief, Police General Debold M. Sinas ang pagsasagawa ng hot pursuit operations sa mga rebeldeng nasa likod ng pananambang sa mga pulis sa Samar.

Isang pulis ang nasawi sa nasabing insidente na nangyari sa Marabut, Samar.

Kasabay nito nagpaabot si Sinas ng pakikiramay sa pagpanaw ni Police Corporal Earl Hembra na aniya ay nasawi habang ginagampanan ang tungkuli sa bayan.

“the PNP joins the Filipino civil society in strongest condemnation of this latest manifestation of disregard for human life by the communist New People’s Army with its continued use of internationally-outlawed landmines to further propagate the communist cause to topple government and seize power thru terror and violence,” ayon kay Sinas.

Inatasan ni Sinas si Police Brigadier General Ronaldo De Jesus, Eastern Visayas PNP Regional Director na agad magsagawa ng “hot pursuit” sa mga nasa likod ng pag-atake.
