1,354 na PUJ drivers sa NCR nakikinabang na sa service contracting program ng pamahalaan

Umabot na sa 1,354 na Traditional at Modernized Public Utility Jeepney (PUJ) driver sa NCR ang pumirma na ng kontrata upang mapabilang sa Service Contracting Program.

Sa ngayon mino-monitor na ng Systems Manager ng programa ang kabuuang kilometrong binibiyahe ng mga tsuper.

Ang Service Contracting Program ng DOTr at LTFRB ay isinasagawa alinsunod sa Republic Act No. 11494, o Bayanihan to Recover As One Act, upang makapagbigay ng karagdagang kita sa mga drayber ng jeep at bus.

Ang mga driver ay sumailalim sa orientation ng LTFRB at ng Systems Manager upang mas maunawaan nila ang programa.
