Nasamsam ng mga awtoridad ang P1,700,000 halaga ng hinihinalang shabu sa Talisay City, Cebu Lunes ng hapon.
Sanib-pwersa ang PDEA RO VII Regional Special Enforcement Team (RSET) at RID7, katuwang ang Talisay City Police Station, sa ginawang buy-bust operation sa bahagi ng Barangay Tabunok dakong 3:20 ng hapon.
Naaresto sa operasyon sina Jeneric Antiga, 25-anyos, at Carlito Encorporado Jr., 24-anyos.
Ikinokonsidera ng mga awtoridad ang mga drug suspect bilang high-value targets.
Nakuha sa dalawang ang apat na pack ng hinihinalang shabu, isang motorsiklo at ginamit na buy-bust money.
Mahaharap ang dalawa sa kasong paglabag sa Section 26 (conspiracy) na may kinalaman sa Section 5 (sale of illegal drugs) Article 2 ng Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
