24-oras na “no contact apprehension program” sa Maynila, epektibo na

Epektibo simula ngayong araw, December 7, ipatutupad na ng okal na pamahalaan ng Maynila ng 24-oras na “no contact apprehension program” laban sa mga pasaway na motorista.

Ayon kay Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, ito ay para madisiplina ang mga motorista.

Base sa Ordinance 8696, P2,000 ang multa para sa first offense, P3,000 sa second offense at P4,000 sa third offense sa mga mahuhuli sa:

—Disobedience to traffic control signals and signs
—obstruction of the pedestrian lane
—driving over a yellow box
—over speeding
—Failure to use Motorcycle helmets
—Disregarding lane markings

Multa naman na P3,000 para sa first offense, P4,000 sa second offense at P5,000 sa third offense sa mga mahuhuli sa:

—Counterflow driving
—Reckless driving
—Failure to wear seatbelt
—Anti-distracted driving
—Driving an unregistered vehicle
—Failure to attach or improper attachment/tampering of authorized vehicle license plate and/or third plate sticker

Sinabi naman ni Manila Traffic and Parkinh Bureau Directir Dennis Viaje na may nakakabit ng mga CCTV camera sa buong Maynila na magmomonitor sa mga pasaway na motorista.
