Bilang ng Filipino abroad na tinamaan ng COVID-19, nasa 11,649

Nagkaroon ng paglilinaw ang Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) ukol sa bilang ng mga napaulat na nagpositibong Filipino sa COVID-19 sa ibang bansa.

Sinabi ng kagawaran na nakatanggap sila ng ulat mula sa mga bansa sa Americas, Asia and the Pacific at Europe na hindi Filipino ang 72 napaulat na tinamaan ng nakakahawang sakit.

Dahil dito, hanggang December 3, ibinaba sa 11,649 ang mga kumpirmadong positibo sa COVID-19 na Filipino mula sa 82 na bansa at rehiyon.

Sa nasabing bilang, 3,258 ang patuloy na nagpapagamot sa iba’t ibang ospital.

Nanatili naman sa 7,545 ang overseas Filipinos na naka-recover sa nakakahawang sakit o na-discharge na sa ospital.

846 naman ang COVID-19 related deaths sa mga Filipino abroad.

Pinakamarami pa ring naitalang confirmed COVID-19 positive na OF sa bahagi ng Middle East/Africa na may 7,544 na kaso.

Sumunod dito ang Europa na may 1,404 confirmed COVID-19 positive cases na OF.

Nasa 767 naman ang kaso sa Americas at 1,934 sa Asia Pacific Region.

Tiniyak ng DFA na sa pamamagitan ng Foreign Service Posts, tututukan ang lagay ng mga Pinoy sa ibang bansa at handang umasiste sa mga Filipino na apektado ng COVID-19 pandemic.
