Arestado ang isang drug suspect sa ikinasang buy-bust operation sa Panglao, Bohol Miyerkules ng gabi (December 2, 2020).
Sanib-pwersa ang Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bohol Provincial Office at Philippine National Police (PNP) RPDEU 7 sa nasabing operasyon sa bahagi ng Barangay Tawala dakong 10:30 ng gabi.
Nagresulta ang operasyon sa pagkakaaresto kay Rex Jesson Amila Bumaat, 27-anyos na residente ng bayan ng Buenavista.
Nakumpiska kay Bumaat ang pitong pakete ng hinihinalang shabu weighing na nagkakahalaga ng P238,000, ginamit na buy bust money at dalawang cellular phone.
Kasong paglabag sa Sections 5 at 11 Article 2 ng Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 ang isasampa laban sa drug suspect.
