Mga menor de edad, bawal lumabas ngayong Kapaskuhan – MMDA

Inanunsiyo ng Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) na napagkasunduan ng 17 Metro Manila mayors na hindi na muna payagan ang mga bata, edad 14 pababa, na makalabas ng bahay kahit ngayong Kapaskuhan.

Ayon kay MMDA Gen. Manager Jojo Garcia, sumangguni muna ang Metro Manila Council sa mga eksperto at hindi pumabor ang Philippine Pediatrics Society at Pediatric Infectious Disease Society of the Phils. na payagan ang mga bata na makapasyal sa mga shopping malls.

“Because of having high immune system, pediatrics experts said that minors who are infected of COVID-19 are usually asymptomatic carriers of the virus. They might be transmitting the virus unknowingly, especially to those vulnerable,” sabi ni Garcia at aniya, “Persons aged 18-65 years old are the only ones allowed to go inside malls in Metro Manila.”

Ngunit paglilinaw ng opisyal, papayagan na makapasok ng malls ang bata at matatanda na higit 65 ang edad kung sila ay may medical o dental check ups, bibili ng mga pagkain o gamot basta susunod sa health protocols tulad ng pagsusuot ng mask, face shield at physical distancing.

Ang iba pang mga aktibidad ng mga bata sa labas ng bahay ay depende sa itinakda ng lokal na ordinansa.
