Mga eskwelahan na nag-aalok ng medical courses target na gawing COVID vaccine centers

Pinag-aaralan na ng pamahalaan na gawing COVID-19 vaccine center ang mga unibersidad at iba pang eskwelahan na nag-aalok ng medical courses.

Ayon kay National Task Force against COVID-19 chief implementer at vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr., kailangan kasi ang whole-of-nation approach dahil nasa 60 milyong Filipino ang target na bakunahan.

Hindi rin maikakaila ayon kay Galvez na malaki ang resources ng probadong sektor.

Inihalimbawa ni Galvez ang University of Fatima sa Valenzuela City na may malaking pasilidad.

Ayon kay Galvez, maaring maging opsyon ang naturang unibersidad para maging COVID vaccine center.

“iyon ang nakikita natin na the resources of the military can be utilized but it doesn’t mean na ano—ang nakikita natin, the strategy that we are having now is whole-of-nation approach. Kasi nakita natin iyong private sector they huge resources also, they have private hospitals that can be utilized as vaccine centers and also the academes, those universities with medical courses they can be used as a vaccination center. Nandoon po ako sa Our Lady of Fatima University at nakita namin na malaki ang possibility na puwedeng gamitin ng Valenzuela ang Fatima University as one of the vaccination centers,” ayon kay Galvez.

Ima-maximize aniya ng pamahalaan ang public at private sector para sa pagbibigay ng bakuna sa lalong madaling panahon.

Una rito, sinabi ni Galvez na sa unang quarter ng taong 2021 maaring dumating sa bansa ang bakuna na bibilhin ng Pilipinas sa China, Russia at Amerika.
